Women Who Travel Go to Women In Travel Summit

February 24, 2019 Kim Croisant 12 Comments

Traveling the world is a dream for most. Some are lucky enough to get to do it. If you’re a woman who wants to travel and who would love to meet other women to travel with, be sure to read – Women Who Travel Go to Women In Travel Summit #WITS19 #VisitPortlandME

Women Who Travel Go to Women In Travel Summit

Women Who Travel Go to Women In Travel Summit

I’m heading to Portland, Maine soon for the Women In Travel Summit #WITS19 – the premier event for women travel influencers, creators, and brands. It’s held in downtown Portland, and my husband is going with me. This blog conference will be the very first one my husband has ever gone to. I’m hoping he will get more of an idea of what I do as a blogger.

Both of us love to travel, and we are staying in Portland a couple of days past the conference to see the sights of Portland. This trip will be my 2nd time to Maine and my husband’s first. We are excited to explore the town and to get a glimpse of the water. Let the adventures begin!

I can’t wait for this powerful weekend of learning, networking, and exploring, and learning more about women in travel.

I traveled a ton when I worked for Delta Air Lines. It was so easy back then to hop on a plane and go anywhere you wanted. I’ve been to many places with friends and by myself, including Hawaii. I have no fear of traveling alone. It’s nice to have my husband and son come along, but if I have to, I must go alone! So the WITS19 is right up my alley, and I now have time to pursue my dream of traveling.

Women Who Travel Go to Women In Travel Summit

It’s such great importance for women who travel to have a place to talk travel and meet other women who love the same thing as they. I’m most excited to hear women speak who have been all over the world. I’d love to know how they do it and how they get paid to do what they love – travel.

What is WITS? (Women In Travel Summit)

The Women in Travel Summit (WITS) by Wanderful is the premier event for women who are travel influencers, creators, and brands. Its goal is to provide women travelers with the tools, connections, and resources they need to become better travel bloggers and entrepreneurs while growing its global sisterhood of dedicated women who travel.

It’s WITS sixth conference in the US and will be held this year at the Holiday Inn–By The Bay in Portland, Maine, from May 3-5, 2019.

WITS expect 400+ women influencers, creators, industry executives, world explorers, entrepreneurs, and allies of all of the above from across the globe to gather, network, and exchange ideas at WITS North America!

I had no idea that this summit existed. I don’t travel a ton right now, but I hope to start traveling more in the near future.
