First Visit Magnolia Market Waco

Sneak a peek at our first visit to Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas. I can’t believe I live just under two hours from this famous place yet have never been! What a place to visit with your mom!

First Visit Magnolia Market Waco: What to Expect

My mom and I made a mad dash to the Magnolia Market before heading to San Antonio a couple of weeks ago. However, we did allow ourselves plenty of time to take in all the awe of the grounds. After watching the famous couple on their show, Fixer Upper, I can’t believe it’s taking me this long to get here.

We were there right before Valentine’s Day, and there were so many flower arrangement displays you wouldn’t believe. I felt like spring had hit Waco way before it was time. The presentation below is what we saw when we first walked in. We both knew we were in a lot of trouble. Shopping for memorabilia is so fun and is my favorite thing to do when I go to a new place for the first time.

What to expect on your first visit to Magnolia Market in Waco

I had my pen and paper in hand and my camera ready for all those things I want to do when I got home. I love taking photos of projects then recreating them at home.

Mom and I wanted one of everything we saw. I only spent a little over $100, and that was good for me.

so many flowers

I don’t think I could ever get tired of looking at these flowers – fake or real.

Take a lot of photos here and recreate them at home. I could not afford everything, so that’s what I did.

Mother-Daughter Memories

When you see your mom this happy, life is good.

You can’t go to the Magnolia Market and not stand in that long line to get a cupcake; you just can’t!! The ambiance of standing in line and looking around at what Joanne and Chip created is far better than a cupcake – well, to me anyway. So mom and I did what everyone else was doing. We stood in line and waited for that darn cupcake!! SWEEEET!

Oh, yes, I did. I had to. I got the t-shirt too!!!

FYI – Magnolia Market is closed on Sundays.

My mom and I had such a great mother/daughter weekend. I can’t wait to go back with her.
