Here in Texas, the heat is rising to almost 100 degrees every day, and it’s nearly impossible to enjoy evenings in our backyard. However, I have a solution to the best way to enjoy hot evenings outdoors. I’m elated to partner with NewAir to talk about the AF-600 Outdoor Misting Fan.
No matter the time of year, kids love s’mores, and they want to enjoy them at sleepovers. My husband and I were dreading the thought of making a fire but gave in to these sweet boys. The last thing we need is more heat. Luckily we now own an AF-600 Outdoor Misting Fan that will keep us cooled off so we all can enjoy an evening outside and delicious s’mores. It’s a lifesaver for sure.
Best Way to Enjoy Hot Evenings Outdoors
A good way to spend hot evenings outdoors whether it be in your backyard or somewhere else when it’s hot is to invest in an AF-600 Outdoor Misting Fan. Wait…it’s the BEST way to enjoy hot evenings outdoors when the temps are off the charts. Wouldn’t you think so? All you need is an electrical outlet, and you’re good to go.
School has been out not even two weeks, and my son is missing his friends. He wanted to have one of his best friends over for some fun and a sleepover. We automatically plan these things so the boys can have fun without getting bored. So, I already knew to make s’mores was in the plans. Though we didn’t want to build a fire in the heat of the evening, it’s almost impossible to have a sleepover without something cooking over the fire. Maybe that’s just us, but we all do enjoy the sweet taste of chocolate and marshmallows squeezed together between two graham crackers.
So, the boys spent the day indoors playing on the Xbox and watching movies, while I went to the store and prepared our outdoor space.
How do you enjoy hot evenings outdoors?
Listen, if you love the outdoors, but dread the heat, water spraying out from a fan is the best way to go. I’ve wanted one for so long, and am so glad NewAir contacting me to write about their AF-600 Outdoor Misting Fan and to bring you the news! It’s got a place in our backyard. We have a couple of electrical outlets in our backyard, so moving the fan is no big deal. My garden room and garden sitting area are on the other side of the yard, so it’s going to be moved over there permanently – but don’t tell my husband.

We love spending time outdoors during the summer. S’mores are such a great idea! We usually head to the pool or something involving water since it’s sweltering hot here.
I have an indoors misting fan but the mist part no longer works. I think I should find a new one for outdoors activities. Summer means the kids spend more time in front of TV, computer and devices, I don’t like that at all.
I try to convince my 5-year old that the best time to play outdoors is early in the morning before the sun gets busy. However, he wants to play outside almost 24/7. This fan will make the hottest times endurable. (Why didn’t I think of this?!?)
It can get pretty hot where we live at as well. We need to do smores soon, I bought all the stuff to make them, but we have been having a lot of storms soon. ugh! I’m loving the misting fan, I didn’t even know that was a thing, very smart idea.
My sister in law is from Greece and she was just telling me that they use misting fans. It is supposed to be a heat index of 110 this weekend. We are having people over Saturday night and planning on a fire pit. It might be way too hot.
This looks like a wonderful idea! Kids need to get outside and play and the heat can complicate that. It looks and sounds like this fan has really helped your outdoor time!
What a really interesting product.I’ve never seen anything like this. Looks like an interesting way to stay cool in the summer. Having some tasty s’mores while you’re relaxing would make it so much more fun too.
Omgosh I would love this. It is so hot here during the day and the humidity is horrible. We do S’mores a lot. My kiddos are the same way about having friends over and cooking something over the fire pit. They love it and I can’t lie I do too!!
It is hot where I live, as well. We play outside early in the day. We use water balloons, water guns, and water play as much as possible if we go out during the day. We also head to the pool at the Y some.
