Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa Review

Review: Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa Review

Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa is a beachfront resort in the heart of Medano Beach – the best swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The resort offers couples, friends, and groups the right mix of comfort and adventure. Guests can sip on a cocktail while taking in the iconic views of Cabo’s most famous landmark – Land’s End. And when night rolls around, guests can enjoy the enchanting city skyline at Rooftop 360.

The resort is trendy among any age. After all, Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa is up for being one of the most Instagrammable hotels in the world in 2023.

Disclosure: Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa hosted me for four lovely days in one of their guest rooms. All opinions in this review are my very own.

The Vibe At Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa

The resort’s vibe is loud, with music playing until late at night. I saw many couples, young college kids (it was spring break for college students), and a few families with small kids. It’s a happening place, so whoever stays here must like the party scene and loud music during the day and evening. Weekends music goes well into late at night. I would not bring babies here.

Book ahead, especially during the busy season – spring break, May, and summer.

First, it’s been years since I’ve visited Mexico and the beautiful beaches there. When I was invited to review this resort, I didn’t hesitate because I wanted to experience another part of Mexico I hadn’t been to – plus – it’s Mexico y’all! You’ll find me poolside, if not on the beach!

Amenities Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa

  • Oceanfront infinity pools, one being a rooftop pool
  • Family outdoor pools with a swim-up bar at one of them and an adult-only pool with cabanas
  • Hot tub
  • Elevated and private beach club
  • On-site world-class full-service spa
  • Complimentary WIFI
  • Concierge & room service
  • Fitness center
  • Rooftop lounge and restaurant

Guest Rooms at Corazón Cabo Resort

A luxury 4-star resort.

Large rooms with nice size bathrooms, private toilets, closet space, small bar, king beds with luxury linens, hair dryer, coffee maker, sliding glass door out on the balcony where hot tub sits, and more. All accommodations offer private furnished balconies; some have a private hot tub with premier views of the Sea of Cortez or downtown Cabo.

Where The Sea of Cortez Meets The Pacific Ocean

Corazón Cabo Resort is a 35-40 minute drive from Los Cabos International Airport.

The hotel’s influence is from Mexico’s rich history, integrating cultural elements with luxurious amenities.

Activities At Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa

The resort offers many activities on the water – soft and high adventures. Cabo is easily a fan favorite, and for a good reason. But many haven’t explored its active side. Guests want to enjoy the beach more than anything, but many want more – more adventures in the water!

Electric Surfing

Have you ever tried electric surfing? Electric surfing is a high adventure, in my opinion. Only one of us took part in this activity in the water. It would be best if you had the stamina to stand up on a board. Once you do that, it’s smooth sailing from there. Just think of it as elevated standup paddleboarding – but with an electric motor.

Crystal Kayaking

A soft adventure anyone can do. It’s kayaking in a crystal clear kayak where you can see through the bottom. It’s pretty cool, but we didn’t see any fish swimming in the ocean that day!

Snuba

A cross between a soft and high adventure. Snuba is a cross between snorkeling and scuba diving. With a guide, you’ll explore underwater with no heavy equipment on your back. You’re hooked up with a tube connected to the guide’s tank.

Restaurants At Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa

A variety of food is provided at the hotel. Unless you want to, you’ll never have to leave the resort for food. Between hamburgers at the grill, fine dining on the rooftop, and everything else in between, it’s not hard to find a favorite. But the town is within walking distance if you want to explore.

Aleta

This waterfront restaurant is the perfect spot for relaxing and savoring the flavors of Cabo, with striking views of beautiful Medano Beach. With an open kitchen, Aleta features fresh, daily caught seafood.

Guests can also bring their catches for a “You Hook; We Cook” experience – they will cook your catch right before you!

Rooftop 360

Perched high atop the 9th floor, set against a backdrop of panoramic views, Rooftop 360 is the perfect all-day escape to enjoy brunch, lunch, happy hour cocktails, and fine dining.

The bar at the top is the highest rooftop terrace in the city and is not only Instagram-friendly but also the perfect place for late-night dancing above the sea.

Corazón Beach Club

Corazón Beach Club offers a stylishly relaxed atmosphere that manages to be playful, indulgent, and chill all at once. The beach club features daybeds, lounge chairs, a live DJ, a full-service bar and kitchen, first-rate food, and handmade craft cocktails.

Camaleón Cafe

In the resort lobby, Camaleón Cafe features handcrafted espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, teas, and more. Sundries and a selection of grab-n-go items are available.

Baja Brewing Co.

You don’t want to miss the beautiful view at Baja Brewing.

The first and only microbrewery in Los Cabos, Baja Brewing Co., is located on the rooftop terrace at Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa, where it offers spectacular views of Land’s End. Its friendly beer garden atmosphere pairs with eight craft beer recipes to create a perfect spot for relaxing after a day in the sun.

It also serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner—so you can grab a bite while sipping your suds! Enjoy tasty food from the menu of a variety of tacos, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more! You won’t be disappointed with what they have to offer! Open 8 am to Midnight.

Things To Do Near Corazón Cabo Resort

Downtown Cabo is within walking distance and right outside the hotel. The Milky Way Bar next door is a popular bar for locals and visitors- expect loud music during the day and at night.

Dinner Boat

Good time dinner boat.

San Jose Del Cabo

Take a bike ride in San Jose.

San Jose is close to the airport and about a 30-minute drive from the hotel. A shuttle took us and picked us back up. We biked through town, making many stops along the way. We had a fantastic time. Plenty of services can take you and your family on a memorable bike right through the town and to the beach.
