How much do you love an open-air Farmer’s Market? I can’t get enough of them. If you’re like me, you want to go to one at the spur of the moment. Because of this, I made a list to help you (and me) find them quickly. These Top Farmers Markets in the DFW Area are open at certain times of the year, so take note of that.

Farmers Markets in the DFW Area
I love visiting Farmer’s Markets to help support farmers and buy local produce. Still, there seemed to be none close to me, so I looked on the Internet to find a few nearest to me, and what I found were many in different areas of Dallas and Fort Worth, and I thought perhaps others might want a list all in one place. So, here’s a list of top local Farmer’s Markets in and around the DFW area. I’ve also listed times, dates, and what they sell if known. Some are open daily, and some are only open on the weekends.
Bedford Farmers Market

The Bedford Farmer’s Market has hanging floral baskets, vegetables and fruits, fresh jams and jellies, local honey, nuts, local salsa, hand-rolled tamales, grass-fed meats, and more.
Farmers Market Grapevine

Farmers Market Grapevine is open daily, right in the heart of downtown. I love going in here to look around. Sometimes I buy 🙂

The DFM is one of the best around. The eateries open daily, but the market is just on weekends.

Denton Community Market

The Denton Community Market is a fav of mine. It’s friendly, laid-back, and the vendors do not sell the same things. I love this market. Dog-friendly.
I’ve gathered that the vendors change throughout the year, while some come back each Saturday. You may want to get a business card from your favorite even if they don’t come back.

Farmers Branch Market has quite a few vendors selling produce and also offers fun children’s activities. A friend I saw at the Denton Market says this is a good market. She sells at both.
