This new puppy handbook offers a list of blog posts written about puppies by me. Make this new puppy handbook your guide to everything puppy related. I wrote about our new Lab puppy and what we learned throughout his puppy stage. Oh my, it’s a lot and a lot of biting!

Meet Someday “Jett Black” Vermejo, aka Jett – AKC Registered Labrador Retriever.
Jett was born on January 10, 2017. We brought him home when he was eight weeks old. We’ve had puppies before but nothing like Jett. He’s a mess. We even had another lab for thirteen years, but he was not even close to being hyper like Jett. The more I know, the more I’d wish we would have waited until we were entirely ready to have another puppy in the house.
Labs do make the best pets – they are so loving, and they starve for attention, which my son makes sure he gives him – one way or another.
New Puppy Handbook
Below are the articles I wrote about puppies. I hope that – besides all the darling pics of Jett, that you get something out of the info here BEFORE bringing home a new puppy. If not before, then after – but better to know than to not. Shoes cost a lot of money, and so does your computer cables!!
My knowledge of having a new puppy goes way back to when I bought Chrissy, a Lhasa Apso. She was my baby, my girl, my everything. Chrissy lived to be sixteen years old and four months. She’s missed every day. Even though we’ve had more dogs, she is the dog that was my special girl. There’s always that one dog that no other can take its place. Do you have one like that?
From what foods to feed your new puppy and how and when to give them treats, will be discussed in these articles. These suggestions are only that – you decide what’s best for your puppy and your family. We had Jett on a couple of different pet foods until we found the right one.
