New Puppy Handbook

New Puppy Handbook

Meet Someday “Jett Black” Vermejo, aka Jett – AKC Registered Labrador Retriever.

Let this new puppy handbook serve as your training guide to a new puppy!

This new puppy handbook offers a list of blog posts written by me about puppies. Make this puppy handbook your guide to everything puppy-related. I wrote about our new Lab puppy and what we learned throughout his puppy stage. Oh my, it’s a lot and a lot of biting!

Affiliate links are provided for your consideration. MTR would receive a commission at no extra cost if anyone were to buy from one of the links here.

Jett was born on January 10, 2017. We brought him home when he was eight weeks old. We’ve had puppies before but nothing like Jett. He’s a mess. We even had another lab for thirteen years, but he was not even close to being hyper like Jett. The more I know, the more I’d wish we would have waited until we were entirely ready to have another puppy in the house.

Labs do make the best pets – they are so loving, and they starve for attention, which my son makes sure he gives him – one way or another.

New Puppy Handbook

Below are the articles I wrote about puppies. I hope that – besides all the darling pics of Jett, that you get something out of the info here BEFORE bringing home a new puppy. If not before, then after – but better to know than to not. Shoes cost a lot of money, and so do your computer cables!!

My knowledge of having a new puppy goes way back to when I bought Chrissy a Lhasa Apso. She was my baby, my girl, my everything. Chrissy lived to be sixteen years old and four months. She’s missed every day. Even though we’ve had more dogs, she is the dog that was my special girl. There’s always that one dog that no other can take its place. Do you have one like that?

What foods to feed your new puppy and how and when to give them treats will be discussed in these articles. These suggestions are only that – you decide what’s best for your puppy and your family. We had Jett on a couple of different pet foods until we found the right one.

New Puppy Handbook

Puppies grow up to be a man’s best friend – and a boy’s – and a mama’s. Follow this new puppy handbook and treat your new puppy like family; he will always have your back.

Feel free to comment on something you have learned from having a new puppy. I might need to add it to my new puppy handbook.
