MEET KIM – the Voice of My Traveling Roads
Born and raised in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, Kim is Mom to her grandson since his birth in 2009. She’s determined to stay healthy, be kind to the earth, and have fun doing it by loving life, practicing self-care, and finding new adventures and road trips for her and her family!
Kim shares road trips through Texas and beyond and self-care tips. She feels that whatever your self-care is – DO IT! In Kim’s case, traveling is her self-care!
In case you missed it, Forever Green Mom is now My Traveling Roads.
Going forward, Kim will share more adventures and fun traveling spots that she and her family go on. Her favorite outdoor adventures include horseback riding, zip-lining, hiking on nature trails, and nature itself. She loves to travel solo too. Multigenerational travel is on the rise, and she’s all about including her 82-year-old mother in her travel plans now and then. Whether they fly or road trip, Kim and her family are ready to go!
Meet Kim and Her Family
Brody and his mom do many fun things together. They love the outdoors, especially hiking on nature trails. Finding new adventures and great places to travel to is what they’re great at. This kid certainly keeps her young! One of their favorite places to go is anywhere there’s a Getaway Tiny Cabin.

MEET MY FAMILY
We are Tracy and Kim Croisant and our little booger Brody. Raising our grandson as our own has been the best thing that has happened to all of us. We are Mommy and Daddy to him. Three years ago, Brody decided to call us Mom and Dad, so I guess that’s our names now. He is growing up so fast, and certainly has a mind of his own.
MY HUSBAND
Tracy, my husband of 18 years, is an outdoor man who loves hunting, fishing, and golf. To be completely honest, he is still trying to figure out what blogging is all about, but he’s got the “best dad” thing down. Tracy is an excellent cook and is the cook of the family. He always puts us first and is Brody’s hero. He truly keeps our family intact and wins the Best Dad Award from us every day.
BRODY
On January 6th each year, we celebrate the pleasure of another year of raising our grandson as our own son. He is now a very healthy 11-year-old and growing up so fast. Brody is all smiles and a very energetic boy. He amazes us every day. “When I grow up,” he says, “I want to be just like my daddy AND a dog trainer.” Brody and I do many local activities together – sponsored and non-sponsored. We love to travel, spend time with our dogs, and do fun things outdoors. Hiking together is our thing!
OUR DOGS
Someday “Jett Black” Vermejo, aka Jett or Jett Jett
Jett is our beautiful black Lab. He loves the water, his family, and, most of all, eating. He grew so fast in the first year that they hardly got to see him as a cute little puppy. A typical Lab puppy, Jett is loving, loves attention, and needs a lot of care and feeding. He inspired Kim to write this New Puppy Handbook, full of hints for anyone adding a new dog to the family.
Cissy & Cody
Meet our rescue dogs, Cissy and Cody – sister & brother, part Yorkie, part Shih Tzu. We adopted them about 6 years ago, and we’re so glad we kept them together. Read her sweet story.
About My Traveling Roads
Travel writer and road trip enthusiast of My Traveling Roads, Kim Croisant, is a proud native Texan passionate about seeing the world by car, plane, train, RV — any way she can. Her travels include many road trips through Texas and beyond. Kim is raising her grandson and takes him and her Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix doggies on as many trips as possible. When she’s feeling the love, she lets her darling 82-year-old mother come along as well. But her favorite way to travel is solo. When Kim’s not writing, she is hiking through nature and camping in the woods in a cabin full of amenities.
