The Florida RV Park & Campground Association is the trade association for Florida’s privately owned RV parks and campgrounds. The association offers business services, advocacy, and promotion to support the industry and its members. The association also publishes free printed camping guides for travelers interested in visiting Florida.

Camp Margaritaville RV and Cabana Resort – Auburndale

Camp Margaritaville RV and Cabana Resort: This 350-site resort has a heated main pool with a 147-foot water slide. A splash pad with interactive water features and sprayers is also available for children.

The resort’s “License to Chill Pool” features a bar and dock overlooking Lake Myrtle. Other amenities include a 9-hole mini golf course, a Pirate Ship Treasure Mining experience, a gaga ball bit, playgrounds, a sand volleyball pit and a cornhole area.

Splash RV Resort and Waterpark – Milton, FL

Splash RV Resort and Waterpark: Water amenities at this campground include swimming pools, a splash zone with a water bucket, and a lazy river. The resort also features a tiki bar. Campsite options include back-in and pull-through sites with full hookups, including 30- and 50-amp service and cable TV connections. KOA patio sites with premium water views are also available.

The Tides RV Resort: This luxury RV Resort offers resort-style swimming pools, a 15,000-square-foot clubhouse with kitchen facilities, a state-of-the-art fitness center, pickleball and shuffleboard courts, a dog park, and scheduled activities and special events. The resort also has a fully stocked catch-and-release fishing lake.

Vacay Villages of Pensacola: This resort features a swimming pool with a built-in cave grotto and waterfall, an in-ground hot tub, and a dry heat sauna. The park also recently built water balloon battle stations.

Fisherman’s Cove RV Resort: This RV park boasts a spectacular view of Terra Ceia Bay, making it particularly popular among fishing enthusiasts. A serene aquatic preserve surrounds Fisherman’s Cove. Nearby are well-reviewed parks such as Robinson Preserve and Emerson Point, which feature walking trails, kayaking, and other activities.

Indian Mound Fish Camp: This family-owned park is situated on the narrowest part of the Intracoastal Waterway in Oak Hill, known as the redfish capital of the world. This is a favorite spot of both recreational and serious anglers. The campground has all of the amenities required for an exceptional RV camping, fishing, and shrimping experience on the Space Coast! It’s also only 30 minutes away from the Kennedy Space Center!

Sun Outdoors: This is a brand-new, all-ages resort in Islamorada Key, offering RV sites and rental accommodations with ocean views. Amenities include a heated swimming pool, a state-of-the-art clubhouse, and poolside cabanas. Islamorada is considered by many to be the “Sportfishing Capital of the World,” with its multiple marinas and charter boat companies that offer deep-sea fishing, reef fishing, and backcountry fishing trips.

Visitors can also charter a boat and head out to the open waters of the Atlantic to catch a variety of fish, including sailfish, marlin, tuna, mahi, and wahoo. The Gulf Stream is located just a short distance from the island and is home to some of the largest fish in the Atlantic Ocean.

Zachary Taylor Waterfront RV Resort: This 210-site park features a half mile of waterfrontage along Taylor Creek, a tributary to Lake Okeechobee, and offers both canoe and kayak rentals as well as pontoon and bass boat rentals for fishing. Park amenities include a lighted 100-foot fishing pier, a fitness center, and planned activities.

Peace River Campground – Arcadia, FL

Peace River Campground: This 160-acre park boasts extensive undeveloped acreage, featuring cypress, oak, and pine trees, with approximately one mile of frontage along the Peace River. The Lempenau family has transformed a 110-acre section of their park into a popular destination for off-road vehicle enthusiasts as well. The off-road section features dirt roads with numerous twists and turns, but guests are welcome to go off-roading, and most do.

This park also features a swimming pool and a small zoo, which includes a miniature donkey, a zebu, a miniature cow, a goat, two tortoises, as well as chickens and rabbits.

Applebrook RV Parks

Applebrook RV Parks: This RV Park network features several parks that serve as base camps for enjoyable summer getaways in Florida. The Idlewild was founded in 1992 as a fish camp situated on three acres, featuring 10 cabins and 10 RV sites. Located on the western perimeter of Lake Panasoffkee, Idlewild sits adjacent to a 9,911-acre state park that preserves the vast floodplain forest, natural springs, pine flatwoods, freshwater marshes, and oak scrub forest of Lake Panasoffkee.

Twin Lakes Camp Resort: This campground features 550 acres of water and 3,500 linear feet of waterfront on King Lake and Holley Lakes with 12 docks. The park currently has 65 full-hookup RV sites, three of which are designated as Buddy Sites.

For travelers without an RV, the resort offers five luxury cabin suites, nine fully furnished glamping tents, three tiny homes, and two lake houses for larger groups. Park amenities include pontoon and kayak rentals, a solar-heated swimming pool, an activity center, and an onsite boutique store.
