Writing didn’t come easy to me when I first started blogging years ago. Though I suppose I knew enough to blog since writing is the majority of what blogging is. Since starting on this journey, I’ve written hundreds of blog posts, and now I write for others. My 2021 predictions for travel bloggers and My Traveling Roads are that we are stronger together, and we must not give up. This is a sponsored post, but all words are my own.
2021 Predictions for Travel Bloggers
Because of the pandemic, being a travel blogger has been tough, not just for me but for everyone. We might not be getting the travel jobs right now, but we do have all the time in the world to create blog posts. If blogging is your full-time job and your career, you may have seen a hit in the pocketbook. But, this is your time to create something else to add to your repertoire. See what my friend Rory is doing (below).
Travel Bloggers Predictions for 2021 And What You Can Do To Keep It Going
I run a women’s travel group, and I have talked to many travel bloggers, and, yes, they seem worried. We all are worried that traveling is not going to be back up anytime soon. We hoped that it would, but here it is, January 2021, and it’s looking grim. On the other side, I know several travel bloggers who have not stopped traveling. They travel, and they travel safely. My group does get together locally, and we talk travel. Stick with your travel buddies and together come up with ways to keep you all busy.
Take Amy, for instance. She’s a content creator of her upscale travel and lifestyle blog who hasn’t given up. She has been featured on USA Today 10Best, and many more publications. Amy is also the President and co-founder of the North Florida Influencers networking organization. Read more about Influencer Spotlight Amy West and her blogging predictions for 2021, including what she thinks about Tik Tok.
The recent growth of travel influencers & bloggers is apparent because they have created other things to do. For example, my friend Rory has started local photo walks in Dallas. Not only does this keep us busy and out of the house, but it also creates great tourism dollars for the cities and towns we are in. Give that a try.
My 2021 Predictions for Travel Bloggers
About My Traveling Roads
My blogging career has provided me with an excellent part-time income since I first started, but I haven’t always been in the travel space. Somewhere around September 2010, I started a blog and called it “Mommie Again.” It was about becoming a mom (again) when I became my grandson’s permanent mom. Then, in 2016, I changed that name to “Forever Green Mom” to reflect the healthy side of myself while continuing being a mom. That lasted about five years. Now, fast-forward ten years, I see myself in a whole new light. I’ve always done traveling, but now, my plan for the rest of my life and blogging career will be in the travel space. I want to see the world, whether from a plane, boat, train, or on the road in a vehicle. I can’t think of anything more exciting than traveling and taking my son with me. My Traveling Roads will be my last name change and last focus.
